Jane Maddox joined the Tellus Institute in 2008 to help develop a greater public awareness of the GT Initiatve. Prior to this, she worked in Boston with The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI), a social venture that seeks to increase the impact of philanthropy in society through its international consulting practice. As Communications Director at TPI, she co-authored with Peter Karoff "The World We Want: New Dimensions in Philanthropy and Social Change," published by AltaMira Press in 2007. Prior to this she worked in employee communications at Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge. In addition, Jane has consulted on integrated communications strategies with a number of corporations, state and federal agencies, non profits and research organizations.

Jane holds a M.S. from Simmons College in Communications Management.
